  Very poor form from a few staff members , the usual helpful clerk Dave wasn't there today , neither were the rear doors open , anyone that knows this store knows parking is very limited and the back

  It's not just this one instance that has reduced the rating to a measly one star but many friends and family members have had similar experiences with rude unhelpful and demeaning staff members been judged for simply entering the store and support business ! .

  Much to my annoyance after asking to be let out I was left standing at the back door for long enough to turn grey grow ear hairs and develop a senior citeZens attitude towards the young blood nut still playing with his bum at the counter . Upon walking back through the store another worker said your loaded up .. didn't offer assistance though .. why would you offer help your only being paid ...

  Day about this store the lady with the dreads and here attitude was also horrid until she seen a wallet stacked with cash ! Don't judge a book by its cover!!!

  Perhaps a restructure of some store policies are in order like if the stores open the doors open ? Why should I have to walk a block with 45kgs of awkward items when I could have exited into the lane ?

  After reading the last review I felt as tho I had to say something to support this local business. I personally find the staff at Mitre 10 Budds to be extremely helpful and friendly, to the point where they great me with a warm hello , even using my name ... But then, this could be because I am also a very friendly person, and I realise that the world doesnt revolve around me..... And I also realise that running a store with multiple staff can lead to days where the business will be 'short staffed' (we are all human and all get ill) ... Unfortunately in situations like this, doors must be kept closed to prevent shoplifting.... And as for the comment on the girl with the dreadlocks, I did have to laugh at the comment "dont judge a book by its cover" ..... as it seems that is exactly what this person did!.... The woman with the dreadlocks is a wealth of knowledge, and one of the most generous people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, Not at all consumed with the over importance of money and power..... seems to me the pot was calling the kettle black .
